Hilary has been coaching executives since 2001, working with both Board level and high-potential clients. Drawing on her background in strategic marketing, her approach to coaching is founded on facilitating her clients' self-insight. Flexible and adaptable, Hilary has worked across public and private sectors, in a wide variety of organisations including Financial Services, Media, Not for Profit, Pharmaceuticals and Retail. Hilary has in-depth knowledge of the telecoms and technology sectors, and brings to executive coaching a foundation of twenty years commercial experience in international business development and strategic marketing.
Hilary operated as a senior director working extensively on cross-border assignments with British Telecom. Her operational experience included leading cross functional teams, virtual teams and managing complex stakeholder/partner relationships in the pursuit of new mobile telecommunications investments in all the major continents. Hilary has managed teams working on investment appraisals of up to $1.5bn and 18 months duration. During this time Hilary lived on project location. Prior to British Telecom, Hilary held roles at Microsoft, Mercury Communications and Bull HN.

Hilary is qualified in Occupational Testing and Assessment with the British Psychological Society BPS Level A&B. She is qualified in applying a wide range of psychometric / personality / team instruments and 360 assessments.
Hilary has an MBA from Kingston University and an MA in Sociology from the University of Aberdeen.
