Hurds Hill

Currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, Hurds Hill is an attractive Grade II Listed property situated on the edge of the ancient market town of Langport located in the heart of the Somerset Levels.

Hurds Hill has a uniquely peaceful and calm atmosphere which make it the perfect retreat for personal reflection and learning, a place where busy executives can take time out to think through and discuss key business issues.

Hurds Hill is an ideal venue to hold offsite excutive board and leadership team meetings, offering residential accommodation for up to 14 people or available on a day rate.

Meeting Space

Hurds Hill has a number of flexible meeting rooms which can be arranged according to client's preferences. The main conference room can accommodate up to 60 people. The smaller meeting rooms can accommodate up to 12 people. In addition, there are a number of areas suitable for use as break out rooms or for small group meetings. Our conference rooms feature the very latest in IT and presentation facilities. Broadband Wi-Fi is available throughout the conference complex and residential rooms.

Accommodation

All our residential rooms are well-appointed with newly refurbished ensuite bathrooms. Broadband Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Grounds

Hurds Hill is situated well back from the road and is set in six acres of peaceful grounds and gardens. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool with changing room and a jogging trail is under construction. There is ample car parking.

Location and Directions

The house is located just outside the ancient Somerset market town of Langport, situated an equal distance between Taunton and Yeovil.

By road: take Junction 25 of the M5 motorway and head east on the A358 towards Ilminster. At the top of the dual carriageway turn left at Thornfalcon traffic lights towards North Curry and Curry Rivel. Follow this road for approximately eight miles. Proceed through the village of Curry Rivel, follow the road for approximately another mile and Hurds Hill can be found on your right hand side just before entering Langport.

By rail: the nearest stations are Taunton, Bridgwater, and Yeovil Junction.
